3 key concepts to undertake: purpose, strategy and business model

by Francisco Santolo

In this article I share three key concepts for starting up and doing business:

3 key concepts to undertake: purpose, strategy and business model

Purpose: what we want to happen (although many times "to protect ourselves", we avoid going deeper or telling ourselves about it honestly). We demand paths of achievements and achievements and achievements with the excuse of one day having the tools to face that, "the" goal.

On the path to achievement, it is key to have our objective clear. Our purpose provides direction and enables the passion and resilience necessary to face difficult situations. Without an objective it is impossible to formulate an effective strategy.

Strategy: it is the set of activities that we decide to do to reach our goal, but also, above all, the activities that we choose not to do.

That ability to be able to leave things out, that trade-off that makes usfocus and differentiate ourselves, has the potential to propel us to our achievements.

Business model: it differs from the business plan by being a dynamic director that brings together our current hypotheses and is constantly fed with new information or insights.

Represent the strategy and its activitieschoosing the actors of the business. What value will you receive? each? What are your needs, problems and desires? What will the processes, relationships and incentives be? How will it happen? The flow of value generation, exchange and capture through the activities defined in the strategy?

I hope it added value! I look forward to your comments.

Big hug,

Francisco Santolo
